Chairman’s Message

Dear colleagues, business partners. First of all, I would like to thank to all our employees, distributors who set many years of friendship and cooperation with us, representatives and suppliers on behalf of MVD Family for their amazing contributions and strengthening us in the world market and getting us among the top five producers in Turkey. The story of MVD Machinery began with producing a food machine, by my father Ali İnan. I decided to be a manufacturer upon my father’s requests in 1968. As MVD family since 1950, we have been constantly advancing our machine diversity and technology with an innovative approach, without leaving understanding determined by our leader. We mainly provide CNC Press Brakes, CNC Guillotine Shears, CNC Punch Presses to the sheet metal processing industry, which we have experienced for over 70 years.

Along with these machines, we are also producing Expanded Metal Press on order of our customers. In addition, MVD Fiber Laser and CNC Plasma machines, which we have developed in recent years and designed in accordance with the needs of the market, are also in high demand. We are experiencing the pride providing service as MVD Family, from Japan to Chili, from the USA to New Zeland, 90 countries. Accordingly, we are constantly increasing our production capacity. In 2017 we established the Research and Development Center certified by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. Knowing the importance of scientific studies in this era, developing appropriate products, maintaining customer expectations, with the vision of " happy customers, happy future".

We believe in the importance of corporate approach for the continuity and development of our company. In line with the feedbacks and demands from our customers; we improve and develop our machines, ourselves and our employees each of whom we see as a member of our family, with our philosophy of “continuous improvement - continuous progress”.

Of course, the main purpose of all these efforts is to support our customers' processes of shaping their future by using highly efficient MVD machines and to develop long-lasting collaborations. In addition to choosing us, we will continue to take into account the demands and criticisms of our customers who will contribute to our development.

History of MVD Machinery

In 1950, the first machine in MVD’s history was built by Ali Inan, father of our Chairman Mehmet Ali Inan. Originally coal-heated, it evolved through years of R&D—transitioning to electric, then steam, and finally gas heating—for the production of kadayıf, a traditional shredded dough used in Turkish desserts.

Granted in 1953 for the first-ever kadayıf production machine built in Turkey, our inaugural patent marked a foundational step in MVD’s innovation journey. The original certificate is still archived at the Patent Office in Ankara.

In 1971, we began producing punch presses and maintained uninterrupted production for over 30 years.

In 1974, our very first press brake was manufactured. It remained in continuous operation at a customer’s job shop until 2023, after which it was repurchased by MVD and is now proudly displayed in our museum. Production of MVD press brakes has been continuing for over 50 years.

In 1981, we moved into a new manufacturing facility in Konya Industrial Zone 1, increasing our capacity and broadening our product range with plate rolling and expanded metal machines.

In 1975, our first guillotine shear machine is manufactured. One of our first guillotine shear machines was repurchased and is now proudly displayed in our museum. Production of guillotine shear machine has been continuing for over 50 years.

In 1993, we made the first investment in a vertical column milling machine in Türkiye, enabling high-precision machining processes. This step marked the beginning of our hydraulic machine production and elevated quality and accuracy standards across the industry.

In 1994, we manufactured the first tandem hydraulic press in Türkiye. That same year, we entered the global market and have since exported to more than 100 countries.

In 2001, we achieved CE certification, laying the foundation for our global dealership structure. Today, we operate through a dealer network spanning over 60 countries across five continents.

In 2003, we launched our first hydraulic punch machine, which remains an active part of our product portfolio.

In 2011, we launched our laser cutting machine line, optimized for high-speed operation, fast acceleration, and superior cutting accuracy.

In 2015, we launched our hybrid press brake, integrating hydraulic force with electronic control systems to optimize energy use, increase processing accuracy, and boost cycle speed.

In 2017, our R&D center was established with approval from the Ministry of Industry and Technology. Since then, numerous academic reserach and patent works have been completed. All approved projects by he Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye have been successfully completed.

In 2018, we manufactured our first press brake powered entirely by an electric drive system. This oil-free system reduced maintenance costs while providing high energy efficiency and shorter operation times.
